5 STAR REVIEW... Rookie Move by Sarina Bowen ***NEW RELEASE***

The first novel in a sexy new series featuring the hockey players of the Brooklyn Bruisers and the women who win their hearts—from the USA Today bestselling author of the Ivy Years series.

In high school they were the perfect couple—until the day Georgia left Leo in the cold...

Hockey player Leo Trevi has spent the last six years trying to do two things: get over the girl who broke his heart, and succeed in the NHL. But on the first day he’s called up to the newly franchised Brooklyn Bruisers, Leo gets checked on both sides, first by the team’s coach—who has a long simmering grudge, and then by the Bruisers’ sexy, icy publicist—his former girlfriend Georgia Worthington.

Saying goodbye to Leo was one of the hardest things Georgia ever had to do—and saying hello again isn’t much easier. Georgia is determined to keep their relationship strictly professional, but when a press conference microphone catches Leo declaring his feelings for her, things get really personal, really fast....

This Book Nerd Says:

How I love this book let me count the ways!

Sarina Bowen continues to blow my mind with her amazing ability to create these worlds that I just lose myself in. And in Rookie Move where going to Brooklyn.
Leo Trevi (a familiar face for fans of Sarina's Ivy Years series) has made it into the big leagues; a true dream come true. Only that's not the only dream about to come true for him. On what is probably the most eventful day of Georgia's PR career, she comes face to face with the one guy she didn't expect to see in the Bruisers locker room, her ex boyfriend.
For Leo, Georgia may have been the girl to have broken his heart back on their graduation day but she is still the love of his life and his sights are set on getting her back, no matter what the cost.

A fantastic standalone read, the chemistry between Trevi and Georgia is palpable from the very beginning. It's worth noting that the connection between the two of them is so strong, it's clear that this is a second chance romance in which the first chance love story never really ended.

As much as I love Trevi (serious heart eyes going on over here) I am absolutely in love with Georgia. Not only does Sarina keep giving us these amazingly crafted book boyfriends. She gives us heroines that are full of both strength and substance. Ones that you not only admire on the pages but ones that you wish you could call up in real life. Georgia is now residing on the top of my favorites list. She smart, savvy, and driven; but above all that she is strong and it's evident in how she's forged ahead with her life despite all the things that could have threatened to pull her down.

I could go on and on about it but I don't want to give anything more away about the story. Just know that I love it from the first page to the very last word and I cannot wait until we get to visit this world again in Hard Hitter (especially because I think I have a slightly major crush on O'Doul).

Top Recommendation!
